We will set sail from the northeastern point of Leeward beach and paddle across to Mangrove Cay, a luxuriant nature reserve. As we explore the mangrove channels, our tour guide will teach you about the different types of mangroves, explain to you their importance for our tropical ecosystem and identify any wildlife that you see. This tour can only take place during high tide, which varies day to day.
Common sightings include: sea turtles, upside-down jellyfish, juvenile lemon or nurse sharks, southern stingrays, and a variety of fish & birds! Wild animals are not caged or trained, therefore, sightings of wildlife can never be guaranteed like in a zoo. The more time you devote to exploring, the ever-greater your chances of seeing wildlife will be.
Drone photography is not included. It is a separate service.
This activity includes clear kayaks or clear paddleboards, paddles, life jackets and a dry bag with space for your belongings.
We will meet at a public beach access in Leeward. GPS directions will be provided in your booking confirmation.
